Aren't vegetarians lacking protein in their diets?

 
Plants also provide protein with all the essential amino acids that a body needs. Good food sources of protein include grains, beans and nuts. If a vegetarian eats eggs or dairy foods, those are also sources of protein. Remember, any diet, vegetarian or not, can provide adequate nutrition if properly planned.
